The LC-8120/8220 is the GPS-based speedometers which measure speed and distance of moving objects with high accuracy. Support for GLONASS satellite which is not supported in the conventional model (LC-8100A/8200A) to ensure stable measurement. Antenna for LC-8220 (LC-0721) is smaller and lighter than the conventional antenna for LC-8200A (LC-0086) and it enables easy operation. The new antenna (LC-0721) is able to attach to the conventional unit of LC-8200(A) for measurement. The linearity of acceleration and angular speed are improved by using the standard IMU (inertial measurement unit) together with the optional high accuracy IMU. Also, by adding the high response IMU analog output function (option), the analog output frequency of the IMU data can be increased from 100 Hz to 500 Hz. A wide range of optional functions such as white-line detecting function (LC-0856), jerk measurement function (LC-0871) and average deceleration speed calculation (function in the LC-0831) are available for various automotive tests.

Here you will find a moisture tester for wood to determine absolute moisture in different wood types. Newly-cut logs can have a moisture content of 80% or more, depending on the type. Since wood shrinks substantially when dried, it must be dried before being used in construction or most other applications. This is most often done using a large furnace called a kiln. The air drying method may also be used, but this is much slower. The voltmeter included in the kit, the “Model DPM” voltmeter, is designed for ease of use by meter readers and corrosion technicians alike and the voltmeter comes with an integrated RE-5 reference electrode attached for “metallic structure-to-soil” potential difference readings. The kit also includes a special test lead that has a brass thumb screw on one end which allows the test lead to substitute for the RE-5 reference electrode. Moisture can be found in any material. Even materials considered to be dry have a minor amount of moisture. An imbalance of moisture, whether it be excessive moisture or too little moisture, can cause problems ranging from undesired mold and bacteria growth to cracks and defects. To avoid a moisture imbalance, it is essential to monitor moisture content with a moisture meter that returns accurate and reliable measuring results. A moisture meter can measure the moisture content of everything from the air (relative humidity) to construction and building materials (concrete, wood) to biomass and agricultural products (hay, straw, grain, corn, beans, pellets) to solid waste (pulp, slurry) and beyond. Many moisture meter devices can also measure temperature. The moisture measurement range of each moisture meter varies depending on the model. Some moisture meter products take moisture measurements, store the moisture measurement data to an internal memory or SD cad, and allow the stored moisture measurement data to be transferred to a computer for detailed analysis by means of an evaluation software. PCE Instruments' moisture meter products come factory calibrated. ISO calibration certificates are available optionally for purchase as accessories to most moisture meter models. An ISO calibration certificate may be important to your company in meeting specific quality standards.
