Air Data
Testing altitude and airspeed components in commercial and military air data applications are critical for the safety and performance of an aircraft. The intuitive user interface allows test set functions to be easily controlled with a minimum of key strokes, with all test parameters displayed, and is suitable for both first time and more advanced users. Optionally many of the ADTS can be remotely controlled by a PDA Pocket PC with wireless Bluetooth connection. The intelligent user interface provides protection to both the test set and the UUT. The software rejects entered command values that exceed the pre-selected limit ranges.

This tester was specifically designed for the new-generation pitot tubes that integrate sensing probes, pressure sensors and powerful air data computer processing to provide all critical air data parameters including Pitot and static pressure, airspeed, altitude, and angle of attack. This Pitot Static tester is designed primarily for flightline use to cover the testing of all barometric and manometric pressure instrument systems. The AoA Channel behaves as a second Ps channel, in order to create a differential pressure between the 2 Ps Channel, allowing to performsimulations of different Angles of Attack. The large touch screen display, with on-screen help, enables all checks to be carried out easily on the flight deck or in the cockpit, by a single operator. AIS Air Data Test System

The primary function of the Air Data Test System (ADTS) is to perform testing and fault isolation of pneumatic-type Units Under Test (UUTs). To test a UUT, the operator connects the associated Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) Integrated Test Adapter (ITA) to the rackmount Avionics Intermediate Shop (AIS) test station. The operator connects the ADTS to the IAIS via an RS-232 Interface and then finally, connects the UUT to the ADTS using the supplied cables and hoses.
