The VI-700 Voltage and Current Source is a versatile precision dialable or remotely programmable voltage and current source. Its three ranges provide up to 20 V full scale (200 V with the HV option), and down to 100 mV resolution; and 20 mA full scale down to 0.1mA resolution. Both voltage and current outputs are available simultaneously. The output is set by a range selector and thumbwheel switches in the LOCAL mode, or by a digital input at the rear panel. The REMOTE mode control can be a RS232 or IEEE-488 interface.

The Model CS-48-100 is a multi-channel, programmable current source. Developed for both semiconductor and digital superconductor electronics, it is computer-controlled and features 48 low noise current source outputs. Each source output has the capability to both set and read back currents and can be set to a zero current high Z mute state. Each of the 48 sources are optically coupled for control and are sourced from their own secondary winding for complete galvanic isolation. The device consumes a maximum of only 80 W and handles a maximum load current of 4.8 A total over all outputs. Operating over a range of 0-100 mA on each channel, the device features accuracy of +/-25 ?A. The mute state can be set thru a rear panel interlock or from the front panel button for maximum circuit protection. The unit can be mounted in a standard-sized rack.

The Keysight N7711A and N7714A tunable lasers are single-port and four-port sources, available with C-band or L-band wavelength coverage. The narrow linewidth and offset grid fine-tuning capability make them ideal sources for realistic loading of the latest transmission systems. All models can reach any wavelength point within their specified wavelength range just like all other Keysight tunable lasers. In this mode, code compatibility with existing test setups based on Keysight's range of full-size and compact tunable lasers is a great asset. In system loading applications, it may be preferable to grid-tune the lasers like system transmitters, simply by changing the channel index. The channel grid is adjustable to standard ITU-T grid spacing like 50 GHz, and to arbitrary grids. Likewise, the zero frequency (base channel) of the chosen grid is adjustable. A 12 GHz fine-tuning range allows de-tuning the frequency.
