Strain Sensors
Conventional strain sensors are based on strain gage technology. In order to effectively measure the strain values in a force or load measurement application, a full, 4 element strain gage bridge circuit is utilized. The configuration is known as a Wheatstone Bridge Circuit. A Wheatstone Bridge has a very linear output in it’s midrange. That being considered +100% to -100% of range. Unfortunately, a Wheatstone Bridge becomes non-linear above the upper and lower extremes of range. Therefore, significant errors can result above the end points when attempting to take precision measurements. It is particularly important to take accurate measurements in some R&D or control applications. To avoid the mentioned error issues, PCB manufactures quartz piezoelectric strain sensors that output the same mV/microstrain sensitivity throughout the entire useful range. Thus, accuracy is improved and control requirements are enhanced that may occur at positive extremes of the measurement range. The models RHM240 and model 740B02 series sensors are the strain sensors for these applications.

RF signal distribution
SpectralNet™
Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc.
RT Logic’s SpectralNet eliminates the physical distance limitations in RF signal distribution, enabling the optimization of ground infrastructure to improve flexibility, reliability and reduce costs. SpectralNet is the first product to digitize and transport RF spectrum over IP networks in a way that preserves both frequency and timing characteristics, and then faithfully reconstructing the original RF signals to enable processing, recording or retransmission at another location. SpectralNet provides advanced networking tools to ensure reliable transport of digitized RF across lossy public and private IP networks. SpectralNet brings analog RF data to the IP network world, unleashing the power of virtualization and centralization of ground architectures for satellite and range ground systems, teleports, UAV and missile ranges, and ISR data processing.

Cavitation Sensors
Cavitation is often induced by an external acoustic field which typically has very high acoustic amplitudes but the acoustic emissions from these cavitation events are significantly smaller. The small acoustic emissions are characterised by well defined spectral peaks at integer harmonics and sub-harmonics relative to the fundamental bubble frequency.

Eddy-Current Sensors
Eddy-Current sensors are noncontact devices capable of high-resolution measurement of the position and/or change of position of any conductive target. Eddy-Current sensors are also called inductive sensors, but generally "eddy current" refers to precision displacement instruments (or nondestructive testing probes) and "inductive" refers to inexpensive proximity switches. High resolution and tolerance of dirty environments make eddy-current sensors indispensable in today's modern industrial operations.
