The PI-41401 is a four channel Clock Driver card capable of operating up to 140 MHz at 3V and 100 MHz at 5V amplitudes into a 50 Ohm load. The PI-41401 has a clock rate of 90 MHz at an amplitude of 5 volts into a 1-MOhm load. Into a high impedance load the output voltage range is from –5 volts to +8 volts with the pulse amplitude ranging from 0V to 9V. When driving a 50 load the voltage range is –2.5 volts to 4.0 volts with the pulse amplitude ranging from effectively 0V to 4.5V. Each channel has a common edgespeed control to vary the rising and falling edges of the output waveform. The adjustable slew rate range, for any amplitude, is the minimum edgespeed of that amplitude times 5. The output pulse amplitude and the load being driven determine the range of variability.

The PicoBuck LED Driver is an economical and easy to use driver that will allow you to control and blend three different LEDs on three different channels. By default, each channel is driven at 330mA; that current can be reduced by either presenting an analog voltage or a PWM signal to the board. Version 12 of the board adds a solderable jumper that can be closed to increase the maximum current to 660mA. The new voltage regulator also increased the voltage rating on the various components on the board, allowing it to be used up to the full 36V rating of the AL8860 part.

Pulsar Microwave manufactures pin diode RF switches that are controlled by TTL logic. This configuration is known as single pole, single throw and is often abbreviated SPST or SP1T. They have been engineered to function in 50-ohm systems, and are designed to operate from 40 MHz to 18 GHz. They have a switching time of 100 nanoseconds and input power rating of 200 mW (23 dBm). Performance of 1.6:1 or better VSWR and minimum isolation of 60 dB is typical of most models.All switches of this type require both +5VDC and -5VDC to operate. Thermal sensors have a series of bimetallic junctions called a thermopile. Radial or axial heat flow through the sensor creates a voltage proportional to the power absorbed as it flows through the thermopile. The reading is not dependent on the ambient temperature since only the temperature difference is measured and not the absolute temperature. The thermopile elements are so arranged that the reading is almost independent of beam size and position. Generally, Ophir specifies ±2% or better uniformity of reading over the surface.
