Atlas Material Testing Solutions
Atlas offers a wide range of evaluation and measurement services for our client's specimens during and after the weathering process. These services are available at Atlas' Miami, Florida and Phoenix, Arizona sites. Atlas uses the most advanced instrumentation from leading manufacturers for measuring appearance properties such as color change, gloss, distinctness-of-image, transmittance and reflectance. All of our services meet the latest measurement test standards from organizations such as ASTM, ISO, DIN and others. A full range of visual assessment services is also available, including coating adhesion, blistering, chalking, cracking, mildew growth, and gray scale evaluation in accordance with respective standards' organizations. Temperature monitoring programs are provided for single and multiple specimens under any type of exposure, as well as for large assemblies such as complete vehicles. Strict quality control guidelines have enabled Atlas' Evaluations Laboratory to achieve industry-accepted accreditation from world renowned standards' organizations. Atlas is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) and accredited or approved by Ford, GM and AMECA.

The N4917B software provides an automated standard compliant stressed receiver sensitivity test according to 100GBASE-LR4, ER4 and SR4 test specification. In order to do this kind of test, several test instruments such as a bit error ratio tester, digital sampling oscilloscope, optical reference transmitter and tunable laser source are required to operate together to achieve a compliant, repeatable optical stressed eye. This stressed eye is then fed to the receiver under test, where bit error ratio is measured under the stress conditions as defined in the standard.

Loop-Powered Transmitters convert the output from proximity probes, seismic sensors, into a 4-20mA DC current, which is proportional to the input being measured. The transmitter converts the displacement or vibration signal to DC voltage and/or current for a DCS or PLC system. They control a 4-20mA current loop for a specified vibration range (ex. 0-5 mils peak-to-peak). The transmitters have a two-wire hook-up, powered solely by the loop current and have a power supply range of 15 to 36 volts.

The LXT330 transmitter can be used with any SP3 smart sensors without additional user reconfiguration. The Universal Transmitter & Smart Sensor loop philosophy removed the need to stock for multiple instrument types. The process parameter, sensor details, serial number and calibration history are stored in the sensor's main memory, facilitated by two-way digital communication between the sensors and transmitter. The LXT330 universal transmitter allows for up to two SP3 sensors per transmitter (contact factory for available combinations).
