Teledyne Defence & Space’s Instantaneous Frequency Measurement (IFM) module, also known as a Digital Frequency Discriminator (DFD), offers high speed frequency measurement across the full operating bandwidth.The IFM measures the frequency of RF signal present at its input and presents a result at its output as digital data. The RF input signal is conditioned by an RF amplifier that provides sufficient drive for the frequency resolving circuits. The raw video from the resolvers is digitised and processed into the required output format. There is additional timing and control circuitry which initiates the measurement process and provides handshake data to the host system processor.

The Aberlink automation interface adds the capability for Aberlink 3D programs to be remotely controlled and monitored using an external system allowing any Aberlink CMM to be integrated with an automated component handling system, whether this be a fully controlled, PLC driven manufacturing system, a robotic loader or just an automatic bar feeder. The package comprises of an optically isolated digital I/O system and a software module that enables the software to be setup to follow a defined operating sequence to allow the automated operation.

Color Measuring Unit
Colorette 4
The Colorette 4 serves for precisely measuring the colour of ground roasted coffee. By means of the stripping device, the sample to be measured is prepared and afterwards positioned at the measuring point. The Colorette works according to the principle of reflection measurement. A ground coffee sample to be measured is illuminated with a white clock-pulsed LED. For colour value determination, the reflected light is thereby captured by a sensor. The determined colour value is afterwards indicated on the touch screen. The indication in different scales makes it possible to use the device flexibly and to adapt it individually to the requirements. Thanks to the improved components, the Colorette 4 is low-wear and guarantees most exact measuring results during the entire lifetime. The extended connectivity offers various integration possibilities into processes and systems.
