The devices can be operated in “ATUR+PC” simulation without any external ADSL2+/VDSL2 modem or computer as they can be easily operated by digital multi-meter. These devices evaluate line quality, carry out PPPoE dial-up, suggest web page browsing to determine the connection to the ISP, and emulates a PC+ modem. These testing devices also help with PING, IP config, route and tracert tests. Moreover, these devices can also function as a computer for examining broadband IP lines or begin a PPPoE dial-up to determine IP network connection and troubleshooting a computer or modem issues.
