Pulse Adapter

The CV30 P650 test station is currently the highest voltage pulser in a series of exponential pulse generators that can be connected to our FEC200E tester. This gives you all the versatility of the proven FEC200 with the addition of high power exponential pulses. The CV30 P650 pulse adapter can produce a maximum current of 100A at up to 600V using exponential pulses up the 10/1000 waveform. The pulser is rated at 30KW from 300V to 650V. Voltage compliance at 100A is 600V. The station can also include all of the usual FEC200 tests in the same test program.

Pulse Laser
Is a variable, pulsed high power laser source, a building block ideal for MOPA, LIDAR, OTDR laser systems development and applications. This fully integrated compact module contains a Distributed Feedback (DFB) laser and built-in optical amplifier stage, and a variable nanosecond pulse generation circuits. It provides up to 200 mW optical peak power in 1064 nm wavelength region, with a programmable pulse width from 10 ns to 1000 ns, and a selectable pulse repetition rate from 100 Hz to 1 MHz The optical pulse generation can alternatively be controlled via an external electrical trigger. Ignition Pulse Detector

These detectors are electromagnetic induction type detector designed to detect the number of ignition pulses produced in the gasoline engines. The IP-292 pinches a primary cord (low voltage) and the IP-296 pinches a secondary cord (high voltage) of the ignition coil. The compact, light-weight and clip-on design of these detectors offer a simple and easy detection of the number of pulse. Since the detector and its cord are made of heat resistance materials, these models are not affected by the high temperature in the engine room. Pulse Characterization Sensors
Pulse Characterization Sensors provide the ability to see and measure the temporal characteristics of pulsed and CW laser beams. Ophir Fast Photodiode Detectors are designed to convert optical signals into electrical signals which are then measured with third-party instrumentation such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers. Accessories are available to connect to IS6 integrating spheres or fiber optic cables. Attenuating filter accessories are also available to increase their dynamic range. Different models offer silicon, UV enhanced silicon and InGaAs PIN photodiodes, covering a combined spectral range of 193 nm to 1700 nm. Rise times range from 25 picoseconds to 3 nanoseconds. The fast rise times are achieved by an internal reverse bias voltage circuit. Power is supplied by internal batteries and/or an external power supply depending on the model. Detectors should be connected to a 50Ω impedance in order to maintain their nominal rise times. They can be connected to higher impedance loads, but this will result in a significant increase in the rise time. If higher output voltage is required, it is recommended to connect the detector to a trans-impedance amplifier with an Input impedance of 50Ω
