There are 100 user programmable input status on the front panel for automated test application and life cycle ON/OFF test. In addition, the 62000H has a 16 bit digital control with bright vacuum fluorescent display readout. The 62000H series DC power supplies are very easy to operate either from the front panel keypad or from the remote controller via USB / RS232 / RS485 / APG (Standard) and GPIB & Ethernet (optional). Its compact size with 3U only can be stacked on a bench in a standard rack without any difficulty.

Detailed description of item: Complete cold atomic beam sources for alkaline-earth precision experiments and atomic devices. Small chambers with patented permanent-magnet Zeeman slowers and in-vacuum 2D MOT optics allow high flux with low outgassing and no thermal beam flux at the cold atom port, which provides a CF-133 connection to customer vacuum chamber. Advanced thermal design of the effusion oven allows long-lifetime operation at minimal heating power, with no water cooling. An integrated low-outgassing hot window is provided for coupling of on-axis Zeeman cooling light. Ion and getter pumps integrated into the chamber manage outgassing from the oven at temperatures up to 520 °C. Operating baseline pressures below 1×10-11 mbar can be attained in the customer’s downstream cold atom (typically 3D MOT) science chamber, with suitable pumping speed provided at the differentially-pumped cold beam output port.

A new ultraviolet spectrophotometer system for optical metrology just arrived at NASA Goddard! The VUVAS-10X spectrophotometer works best in the 90 to 160 nanometer wavelength range, also known as deep or vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) region. It uses a windowless hydrogen plasma light source and differential pump section to reach many wavelengths beyond those of conventional deuterium lamps. The source also works with other gases, or gas mixtures, for atomic spectral line emission from about 30 nanometers (double ionized Helium gas) up to the Visible light range. The new spectrophotometer system, McPherson VUVAS-10X, uses a one-meter focal length high-resolution monochromator with the special light source, scintillated detector and Model 121 goniometric sample chamber. The system is ideal for optical transmission, absorbance and specular reflectance at incident angles up to 60 degrees. This McPherson spectrophotometer system will help develop, inspect and qualify optical materials and coatings used for very high altitude and extraterrestrial space flight missions.
