The G6 VSG from Transcom Instruments is a Vector Signal Generator that operates from 10 MHz to 6 GHz. It can simulate GSM, EDGE, CDMA, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA, CDMA2000, TD-LTE, FDD-LTE, NB-IoT, and LoRa base station signals for production and calibration of UE, chips. The signal generator has a dynamic range (power range) from -100 to 10 dBm and an in-built automatic gain control function. Furnished with TNC female connectors all ports. A special feature of this unit is the 200 ohm internal load which provides a current drain for the GPS receiver not powering the active antenna. Some GPS receivers incorrectly sense an antenna fault when there is no current draw. The 200 ohm internal load provides a simulated antenna current drain which prevents receiver faulting. Max voltage rating at the DC blocked ports is 15 VDC; maximum current rating is 75 mA. Max voltage rating at the DC pass port is 50 VDC; max current rating is 2000 mA.
