pH Electrodes
A glass electrode is a type of ion-selective electrode made of a doped glass membrane that is sensitive to a specific ion. The most common application of ion-selective glass electrodes is for the measurement of pH. The pH electrode is an example of a glass electrode that is sensitive to hydrogen ions. Glass electrodes play an important part in the instrumentation for chemical analysis and physico-chemical studies.

IDA Electrodes
Interdigitated Array (IDA) electrode is an electrode developed for electrochemical measurements to be performed in a very small quantity of the sample. IDA electrode could be applied for the detection and reaction analysis of the compounds in a small quantity of the sample. IDA electrode is a microelectrode pattern fabricated by using the lithography technology. The Electrodes are composed of 65 pairs. In each one of the pair has a function of the oxidation and reduction electrodes.

Cells and Electrodes
Electrochemical cells are designed to their special purpose. The method, the matter and their reactions as well as the environmental conditions define the limitations and demands for electrochemical cells and the electrodes. Standard corrosion testing cells may have a large volume, since corrosion products shall not change the solution grossly during the test. On the other hand, it may be valuable to collect corrosion products - then a very small volume is desired ("eluation cell"). Special corrosion tests for pitting reqiure a setup where undesired crevice corrosion is excluded ("Avesta cell" , "Quarfort Cell" or "Flushed port cell". Or you want to investigate in crevice corrosion, then the cell design should meet such conditions. Corr Instruments offers a full range of exceptionally high performance, high-temperature and/or high-pressure UltraDeg probes, including pH electrodes, reference electrodes, platinum conductivity probes, and ORP(redox) electrodes, for temperatures up to 650F (343C) and pressures up to 5100 psi (35 MPa). These probes are ideal tools for corrosion monitoring, thermodynamic or electrochemical studies in harsh environments such as steam generators, nuclear power reactors, geothermal systems, deep oil/gas wells, and super critical water systems. Many of these UltraDeg probes are built upon our innovative sealing compound, Queon, which is the only known material in the world for sealing electrical conductors in metal sealing glands or compression feedthroughs that are operable at temperatures between 400F (200C) and 650F (343C).
