Developed in cooperation with Mayo Clinic, Thermotron's Cytogenetic Drying Chamberthe CDS-5was specifically designed for conducting cytogenetic slide drying tests during harvest of in situ and non-in situ grown cultures. The CDS-5 provides the optimum controlled temperature and humidity environment required to achieve ideal chromosome spreading results. As evidenced in research conducted by the Cytogenetics Laboratory at Mayo Clinic, the CDS-5 facilitates reliable and repeatable chromosome spreading. The use of an environmentally controlled drying chamber is a practical and cost effective way of achieving ideal chromosome spreading in a routine and highly consistent manner. Favorable chromosome spreading results can be obtained for both in situ and non-in situ cultures including PHA stimulated lymphocytes, bone marrow, amniocytes, and fibroblast.

PD5980 is an IP67 outdoor, weather resistant, DC blocking, eight way, RF broadband, 50 ohm, power divider, power combiner furnished with TNC coaxial connectors. The passive Wilkinson design passes RF, 10 MHz and DC current through one port, typically for powering an active antenna, with the other ports blocking DC. Max voltage rating at the DC blocked ports is 50 VDC. All wireless band applications in the frequency range from 698 to 2700 MHz are covered with best in class RF performance. The RoHS compliant PD5980 is a bidirectional device capable of 40 W max microwave input power level in both power splitter and combiner apps. Connector Block
This connector block provides a simple method of connecting to 25-Pin D-Type connectors. The screw terminals use a rising cage clamp mechanism to minimize risk of copper strand breakage. PTFE cables are recommended for use with this connector block to maximize copper cross-sectional area and insulation properties. Connector blocks have higher losses than a cable connection and the breakdown voltage is controlled by clearances to the metal shell. The metal shell includes an internal insulation barrier under the carrier board.
