The DPSK demodulator is designed for phase modulated optical communication systems utilized in commercial, defense and space exploration markets. Optoplex’s DPSK Demodulator is based on a patented free-space optical design, which is compact, athermal and polarization-independent. Themeasured frequency drift over temperature is only ~0.02 GHz/°C for our standard passive device. Further, this DPSK Demodulator exhibits a total polarizationdependent phase shift of less than 2 degrees over the entire operating temperature range with a high extinction ratio. Two versions of this shield are avaliable for each thermocouple type: either 'Ch 0-3' (CS pins use Uno/Mega IO pins 7-10) or 'Ch 4-7' (CS pins use Uno/Mega IO pins 3-6), with the only difference being which set of zero-ohm resistors are populated on the board. Passive probes are the standard probe provided with most oscilloscopes. Typical passive probes provide a 10:1 attenuation and feature a high input resistance of 10 MΩ. This high input resistance means that passive probes are the ideal tool for low frequency signals since circuit loading at these frequencies is minimized. Passive probes are designed to handle voltages of at least 400V, some as high as 600V. Teledyne LeCroy passive probes feature an attenuation sense pin which tells the oscilloscope to scale the waveforms automatically requiring no user input.Each passive probe is recommended for a certain oscilloscope, using the right passive probe with the right oscilloscope means that the probe will be properly compensated across the entire bandwidth. Using probes with a different oscilloscope will only let you compensate for low frequencies.
