A very high stability LOW NOISE 10MHz Rubidium Reference, primarily for production test of quartz oscillators and RF instrumentation frequency referencing. This industry standard 2U rack-mount instrument has a long heritage and ongoing production life for this latest 2009 version that features RS232 monitoring and control of the DPLL, locking the Ultra Low Noise OCXO to the Rubidium. Damping and Bandwidth is controlled by integrator digital gain, proportional digital gain, pre-filter order and subsample rate. Eight values of user selected bandwidth are available.

Analog Devices’ pulse-width modulation (PWM) to voltage output D/A converters convert a PWM input to an accurate, stable, buffered voltage without the ripple, slow settling, and external passive components of discrete filter implementations. The 1U647-001 is a low cost calibration standard used to determine if a 1U632-100 or a 1U663-100 DMU requires factory calibration. Its portability makes it ideal for field-testing. The standard generates signals that simulate the aircraft’s resolvers, rotary variable transformers (RVTs), and linear variable displacement transformers (LVDTs). The unit also generates a pulse width modulated (PWM) signal, and routes the output of an ARINC 429 source to the different DMU input channels. The calibration standard connects directly to the DMU and replaces the output signals of an active extender card. Discrete switch settings simplify testing. The unit is housed in a rugged aluminum case.

The DP differential isolation probes are an important accessory for any laboratory involved in power electronics and high voltage systems. These probes allow isolated and floating measurements with any oscilloscope or data recorder, whilst the oscilloscope can remain grounded. Using a DP150 or DP200pro probe, differential and floating measurements can be made on a variety of ac power systems like 230V/110V ac input power supplies, chopped and switching power supplies, thyristor controllers, variable speed motor drives (PWM signals), motor inrush current and measurement across current shunts. The isolated input is made via two 4mm/banana safety sockets. The BNC output allows easy connection to an oscilloscope. The DP probes can be powered from a 9V battery or external power supply.
