Arduino CAN Shield

CAN (Controller Area Network) communication has become ubiquitous in industry. It is used in automotive applications (part of OBD and many other datalinks), on-highway trucks (J1939), industrial machinery and instrumentation, and equipment applications (factory automation). This shield is designed to provide a CAN 2.0 front-end interface for 5V Arduino modules (Uno, Mega, etc). The module uses SPI to communicate to the Arduino, and requires an aditional chip select pin. An optional interrupt line to the MCP2515 and two LEDS are also provided. The chip select and interupt lines are selected via zero ohm resistors and have several configuration options for flexibility stacking additional shields. A set of stackable headers is included with this board, not installed. An optional on-board voltage regulator may be used to supply 7.5V to the Arduino's 'Vin' pin (which is regulated to 5V by the Arduino's on-board LDO). The CAN shield regulator supports a wide input range of 9V to 32V. This makes it possible to cleanly build a stand-alone CAN node (remote sensor) without the need for a separate Arduino power supply!

Near Field Probes 30 MHz up to 3 GHz
RF6 set
The RF6 near field probe set consists of 2 passive magnetic field probes and 2 passive E field probes for measurements in the development phase of the E-field and magnetic field in the range from 30 MHz to 3 GHz on electronic assemblies. The probe heads of the RF6 set allow a step by step localization of interference sources of the RF magnetic field and RF-E-field on an assembly. From a larger distance the electromagnetic interference is detected by RF-R 50-1 for the magnetic field and by RF-E 02 for the E-field. The RF-B 3-2 and RF-E 10 probes with their higher resolution can more presicely detect the interference sources of the magnetic field and the E-field. Field orientation and field distribution on an electronic assembly can be detected by special guidiance of the near field probe. The near field probes are small and handy. They have a sheath current attenuation and are electrically shielded. They can be connected to a spectrum analyzer or an oscilloscope with a 50 Ω input. They do not have an internal terminating resistance.

The necessity of a wireless system test has risen by the spread of recent wireless telecommunication equipment as shown in cellular phone, wireless LAN, RF-ID tag and ETC (Electronic Toll Collection system). It is necessary for a wireless test to be performed in anechoic environment in which an external noise is intercepted and a radio wave does not reflect internally. An anechoic chamber (room version of a shield box) is proper facilities but needs a wide space and a huge cost. Especially, the equipment under wireless system test on the production line can not radiate any signal radio wave outside before approval. The shield box satisfies these conditions.
