The Sercos Monitor is a powerful diagnosis tool for Sercos III networks which is available for free download from the Sercos website. It allows a comprehensive and detailed analysis of data traffic in Sercos III networks. The Sercos Monitor supports the Windows XP and Windows 7 operating systems. The tool, which is based on the WinPcap interface, allows a retrospective evaluation of network records saved in pcap format, as well as real-time analysis of network traffic. The user-friendly interface and overview functions which are characteristic of Sercos III networks, such as topology, communication phases and service channel transfers, allow the analysis process to be started quickly and in a targeted manner. Experienced users also have comprehensive protocol and analysis functions available to them. Various views and filters allow an evaluation of Sercos III real-time telegrams and other Ethernet telegrams which is tailored to meet the user's requirements. If required, the functionality of the Sercos Monitor can also be expanded with user-specific plug-ins.

The Falco Systems WMA-02 is a high voltage amplifier that runs from an 24 - 30V DC power supply and can be battery powered if required, e.g. for use in a Faraday cage. Its internal high voltage generator is inductor-free and hence does not spread magnetic interference in sensitive experimental setups. The output noise is impressively low at 4mVrms. For extremely low noise applications where bandwidth is not an issue, a dedicated WMA-02LF version is available that contains an output low pass filter capacitor which reduces the bandwidth to 50Hz, but makes the noise drop to below 0.2mVrms. This bandwidth-limited amplifier is ideal for MEMS or piezo positioning with manual voltage adjustment.

The ADF5356 allows implementation of fractional-N or integer-N phase-locked loop (PLL) frequency synthesizers when used with an external loop filter and an external reference frequency. The wideband microwave VCO design permits frequency operation from 6.8 GHz to 13.6 GHz at one radio frequency (RF) output. A series of frequency dividers at another frequency output permits operation from 53.125 MHz to 6800 MHz. The ADF5356 has an integrated VCO with a fundamental output frequency ranging from 3400 MHz to 6800 MHz. In addition, the VCO frequency is connected to divide by 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, or 64 circuits that allow the user to generate RF output frequencies as low as 53.125 MHz. For applications that require isolation, the RF output stage can be muted. The mute function is both pin- and software-controllable.
