Active Filter
J2190A
The J2190A active filter presents a high impedance (approximately 150kOhms) minimizing the loading of the circuit being tested. The output impedance is 50 Ohms allowing low noise coaxial connections to all typical test equipment. The 0.1Hz-10Hz noise band is common for opamp measurements, voltage regulators and voltage references. Many application notes offer schematics of such a filter for test purposes. An engineer’s time is much too valuable to be spent building test equipment. We have created a 4th order high pass and 4th order low pass filter with an optimally flat response and 0dB gain. Additional filters can be cascaded for even sharper cutoff.

Active Voltage Probes
Engineers must commonly probe high-frequency signals with high signal fidelity. Typical passive probes with high input R and C provide good response at lower frequencies, but inappropriately load the circuit, and distort signals, at higher frequencies. Active voltage probes feature both high input R and low input C to reduce circuit loading across the entire probe/oscilloscope bandwidth. Active Differential Probe
DF-600
The DF-600 Differential Active Probe is a high input impedance and low input capacitance probe. It also supports extremely high frequency bandwidth, and high voltage input. It is designed using three OP amps, namely two FET buffer OP amps and a low offset OP amp. Therefore, even with long-term operations, the measured voltage will not drift. The voltage offset always approach 0 volts. (USB power supply should be 5V ±2%). The following diagram shows the circuit of DF-600.
