HIPOT Insulation Testers
Crown high voltage, transformer type hipot insulation testers are safe, easy to use for quick, positive determination of grounds, shorts, and broken wires in motors, transformers and other low voltage equipment or wiring systems. A turn of the selector switch gives a selection of seven voltages; 500, 1080, 1250, 1500, 1750, 2000 or 2500 volts calibrated to +/- 5% accuracy; NEMA recommendation for insulation test is twice normal voltage plus 1000 volts. Since this instrument has a capacity of 2500 volts, it readily accommodates all normal requirements.

Tap Adapter
Techimp Voltage Tap Adapter is gender changer which allows the user to connect to the test tap (sometimes called power factor tap) of high voltage transformer bushings.While keeping the test tap well below the safety voltage level required by the manufacturer, the Tap Adapter lets the user to drain high frequency PD signals for diagnostic assessment of insulating materials.A synchronization signal can be derived as well.It is suitable for both single shot as well as continuous PD monitoring.Although it must be customized on the basis of the shape and dimension of the test tap (to be provided by the Customer), many models are readily available for the most established transformer bushings. A list of the presently available models is reported below.Several thousands of hours of operation are a guarantee of reliability and accurate design.
