1000W Ferroresonant Power Supply
Series PRR
Kepco's PRR are 1000 Watt rack mounted laboratory systems power supplies that offer the low cost and very high dependability of ferroresonant voltage stabilization. The ferroresonant stabilizing technique provides extraordinary isolation from a wide variety of source noise. It is inherently short-circuit proof and cannot expose delicate loads to overvoltage hazards. Hence no crowbar, fuses, or bounding circuits are needed. Ferroresonant power supplies use no noise-producing switches or oscillators. Voltage setting is independent of delicate control settings or diode references and requires no comparators, references, or limiters. Efficiency is 70-80%.

Directional Microphone
MI-8100
MI-8100 is a shotgun type directional microphone which sharply catches the intended sound. This directional microphone is helpful for the removal of background noise in the simple sound source exploration and in abnormal sound detection. Flat frequency characteristic from 50 Hz to 20 kHz and sharp detection with high S/N ratio provide high sensitive detection of various sound coming from the specific direction. By combining the acoustic vibration monitor BL-1100, only the intended frequency or sound is focused and caught clearer.

Signal Analyzer
bsw TestSystems & Consulting AG
The simplest way to measure the phase noise is to compare the Device-Under-Test (DUT) to the source of a spectrum analyzer. With the SA set at the same frequency as the OUT, you see the sum of the SA's and DUT's sideband-power spectrum on the SA display. It is a simple and straight forward method well suited for free running VCO's where the SA is easily an order better. You can improve on this method by establishing a Phase Lock (PLL) between the DUT and the Local Oscillator and create a zero-IF or base-band spectrum analyzer system.

Full Band Noise Figure and Gain Test Extenders
STG-06-S1
Full band noise figure and gain test extenders are offered to extend noise and gain measuring capabilities up to higher millimeterwave frequency ranges. These extenders are designed to interface with noise and gain test systems that have an input IF of 10 MHz to 1.6 GHz, such as the industry standard Keysight 8970A/B, N8975A and Maury MT 2075B. The noise figure and gain test extenders include a high-performance, solid-state noise source (STZ series) and a full waveguide down converter (STC series), which consists of a Faraday isolator (STF series), full band mixer (SFB series), frequency multiplier, and IF amplifier. A frequency source with an output signal in the frequency range of 10 to 20 GHz is required as a local oscillator for the down converter. The noise source is automatically powered on and off by the noise figure meter.

Low Noise Pre-Amplifiers
Low Noise Pre-Amplifier and companion external low noise amplifier (LNA) are used to amplify low level microwave signals. The Pre-Amplifier contains an AC/DC power supply, internal low noise amplifier, and a bias tee to source a DC bias voltage on the RF input connector. To overcome cable loss between the test antenna and the Pre-Amplifier assembly, a remote low noise amplifier (LNA) is mounted directly onto the 10 GHz antenna. A bias tee inside the Pre-Amplifier chassis powers the remote LNA through the coax cable interconnecting the pre-amplifier and the 10 GHz test antenna.

20 GHz Signal Source
VCO Series
The SC5510A and SC5511A are VCO-based, synthesized signal sources with very low phase noise and an amplitude control of 0.01 dB throughout its -30 dBm to +15 dBm output power range. By utilizing a unique multiple phase-locked loop architecture, phase spurs are kept below -70 dBc across the entire tuning range, even at 1 Hz step resolution. Download the data sheet to see how the impressive features and specifications of these modules make them stand out when compared to other small modular synthesizers. These 20 GHz signal sources include an additional, independent RF2 channel with a tunable frequency range from 100 MHz to 3 GHz and a tuning resolution of 25 MHz. The extra channel makes the modules suitable for either single-stage RF conversion systems or dual-stage image suppression up/down converter systems. Both modules make great general-purpose laboratory signal sources where demanding low phase noise and signal purity are required. They are both ideal choices as an integrated clock source for fast DAC and ADC applications, especially those that require variable sampling rates. Full implementation instructions, GUI, driver software, and example code are provided with each module.

Gas Filter Correlation Carbon Monoxide Analyzer
Model T300
The Model T300 measures low ranges of carbon monoxide by comparing infrared energy absorbed by a sample to that absorbed by a reference gas according to the Beer-Lambert law. Using a Gas Filter Correlation Wheel, a high energy IR light source is alternately passed through a CO filled chamber and a chamber with no CO present. The light path then travels through the sample cell, which has a folded path of 14 meters. The energy loss through the sample cell is compared with the span reference signal provided by the filter wheel to produce a signal proportional to concentration, with little effect from interfering gases within the sample. This design produces excellent zero and span stability and high signal to noise ratio, allowing extreme sensitivity. All T Series instruments offer an advanced color display, capacitive touch screen, intuitive user interface, flexible I/O, and built-in data acquisition capability. All instrument set up, control and access to stored data and diagnostic information, is available through the front panel, or via RS232, Ethernet, or USB com ports, either locally or by remote connection. The Model T300 comes with NumaView™ Software. NumaView™ Remote PC Software allows for a remote connection with virtual interface and data downloading capability to analyzers operating NumaView™ Software.
