Range-Doppler Target Generators
ATG9100
The ATG-9100 is an example of a laboratory-quality instrument that will simulate complex target motion. Microwave signals from the speed camera enter the instrument through an integrated antenna which is then downconverted and digitized. Target simulation data is added to the digitized signal to provide range and Doppler information. The modified digital data is then converted back to an IF and upconverted to the original microwave frequency of the speed camera and radiated back through the antenna. Since the ATG-9100 can be phase-locked to an external 10 MHz reference standard, this instrument is suitable for use as a calibration standard for speed cameras.

The generator is intended to be used with either spectrum analyzers or communications receivers to mark specific frequency intervals in the RF spectrum. When used with receivers, it is essentially a frequency calibrator, thus making it attractive for use with vintage receivers with analog dials. The NSG-2 provides a leveled amplitude output over nearly 100 MHz of RF spectrum, thus making it ideal to mark frequencies and signal levels on spectrum analyzers. The VeEX UX400 is the smallest multi-service transport test solution to offer test capabilities ranging from DS1/E1 all the way up to 6x 100G traffic generation, supporting the latest 100G/40G optical pluggable form factors (CFP4, CFP2, CFP, QSFP28, QSFP+, no adapters required). Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS Analysis) is used in conjunction with the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) providing chemical analysis in areas as small as 1 µm in diameter. EDS detects all elements except for H, He, Li, and Be. EDS can be performed exactly on any features or particles seen in the SEM images and can “MAP” elements on a surface. Unknown materials can be identified and quantitative analysis can be performed.
