PXI 6U Power Relay Module

The SPDT Power Relay Module consists of 48 single pole changeover relays controlled by a PXI/CompactPCI interface. It is suitable for applications were conventional reed-relay based switching modules do not have sufficient voltage rating or current carrying capacity. All 48 contacts are electrically isolated from each other and are capable of switching resistive and inductive loads up to 2000VA at 240V AC. The module is built on a single width 6U PXI module and the interface is via a standard PXI/CompactPCI backplane. Connection to the switching contacts is via three 50-pin D-type male connectors mounted on the front panel. These are machined contact types with 7.5A current carrying capacity.

Relay Buddy is a quick go / no-go tester for the most common automotive relays. It provides you with an indication of the general health and functioning of the relay switch contacts and coil. Relay Buddy will check the control side of the relay by applying a signal to the relay coil while it checks for proper functioning of the relay contacts. Relay Buddy operates the relay several times during each test session as it watches for consistency in every cycle. Two channels of 10MHz drivers, that can be operated as standard Two-Level Drivers or operated as two channels of Tri-Level Drivers. In the Two-Level mode, the input to each driver channel requires one channel of TTL level timing. Tri-and four level modes require a second clock input. In the Tri-Level Mode, the output from lowest rail to high rail can be 18.5V. Like the 40460 the rise and fall time as well as the high and low voltage levels of each channel is programmable.
