Teledyne Test Tools new T3PS3000 is a Linear Programmable DC Power Supply with a 4.3 inch TFT LCD display. Support for series and parallel operation of the two main channels extends its flexibility beyond the standard specification. The 63200A series high power DC electronic loads are designed for testing a wide range of power conversion products including AC/DC and server power supplies, DC/DC converters, EV batteries, automotive charging stations, and other power electronics components. These units can be synchronously paralleled up to 240kW and dynamically synchronized for generating complex multi-channel transient profiles. The 300% peak overpower capability provides extra headroom for fault condition simulations in automotive batteries, fuel cells, and more. The 63200A series have three operating voltage choices, 150V, 600V & 1,200V, with models covering power levels from 4kW to 24kW and up to 2,000A in a single unit. The DC loads have unique user defined waveform (UDW) capability and external analog modulating input for s imul a t ing re a l-wor ld, cus tom waveforms. Another distinct feature is the dynamic auto-frequency sweep function, which enables detecting a UUTs worst case output deviation across a wide range of current frequencies. In addition, a 255-set of data storage function has been built in for recall of the stored settings at any time. For automated testing, the save and recall functions can save a great deal of time.

The PI-1600 Circuit Breaker Tester incorporates modular design and flexibility to provide unequaled capability in a portable package. The PI-1600 test set is two testers in one, incorporating the PI-800 and PI-AUX. The PI-800 section can be used alone, on 120 or 240 VAC supplies, generating continuous current of 400, 800, amps at 4.2 kVA, with peak output to over 10x. When configured for the PI-1600, the PI-AUX output unit is connected in series or parallel to the PI-800. The PI-AUX boosts total power to 9.8KVA, and allows testing of draw-out breakers and MCB’s to 1600 Amps. The units are housed in rugged interlocking suitcase-size enclosures. When it comes to winding resistance measurement on three-phase power transformers and autotransformers, TWA Standard series offers some of the most technically advanced instruments with LCD display in the market. Both models are capable of testing six transformer windings with a one-time cable connection, as well as three-phase automatic transformer demagnetization. The stored magnetic energy is safely automatically discharged at the end of the test. The built-in tap changer control unit enables automated test mode, where the instrument operates the tap changer without operator input and records winding resistance results based on pre-selected stabilization criteria. This option makes the operator’s job significantly easier.Both models can output test currents from 5 mA to 25 A DC for the purpose of winding resistance measurement. TWA40D has a special test mode for checking the synchronization of on-load tap changers with three phases simultaneously tested in parallel, in which the total test current can rise to up to 40 A DC.TWA40D has additional advantages when it comes to non-intrusive tap changer analysis. The unique DVtest method enables checking the moving contacts of on-load tap changers during the transition, measuring the transition time, detecting open circuits, and many other types of faults. It is performed with 0.1 ms sampling rate, simultaneously with the measurement of tap changer motor current which helps with the detection of motor and mechanical issues. A special proprietary algorithm is used for testing tap changers connected through a built-in series (booster) transformer. The DVtest can be performed either on one phase or on three phases simultaneously. It can also be performed as an additional test simultaneously with the winding resistance test in all tap positions.An additional unique advantage of TWA40D is the capability of simultaneously testing the winding resistance of all three phases of a three-phase transformer (connected in a YN configuration). This can significantly shorten the total testing time – for example, it enables the operator to perform 33 measurements instead of 99 on a tap changer with 33 tap positions.The test leads for TWA three-phase transformer winding ohmmeters are interchangeable with the TRT turns ratio testers, which means that both sets of tests can be performed with a single test lead connection to the power transformer terminals.

An SAS (Solar Array Simulator), consisting of an interconnection of several Solar Array Simulator modules, maps the solar panels and displays the individual strings connected in parallel.
