Multiplexer Module
The 40-662 range of 16 Amp PXI power multiplexer modules is available in seven configurations ranging from 4-off 2:1 multiplexers to 1-off 16:1 multiplexers. Power multiplexer modules are intended for switching heavy AC or DC loads or for the slave switching of large external relays, contactors and solenoids. All versions are suitable for switching loads up to 16 Amp at 250VAC. User connections are made via a 20-way GMCT plug which is fully support by our comprehensive range of cables and connector accessories.

Video Distribution Amplifiers (sometimes called a video splitter – not to be confused with a video split screen controller such as our PXD510E split screen controller) are typically used for connecting a camera or other video source to several monitors that do not have “looping” inputs. In this situation, each monitor has a permanent 75 ohm termination. With two non-looping monitors connected together, the line would be double loaded and result in a dim picture on each monitor. Using a Video Distribution Amplifier will solve this problem by driving each monitor individually at 100%.
