The Handyscope TP450 is a power quality analyzer, connected via USB to the computer. The advanced measurement software delivered by default contains Quick Setups that allow to start mains power logging measurements without specialized instrument knowledge. With the 450 V input range, the Handyscope TP450 can be plugged directly in a (110 - 230 V) wall socket to measure the mains voltage. No additional attenuator is required. Logging mains voltage can be done at a high rate of 250 thousand measurements per second, with a resolution of 16 bit, which is equal to a 5½ digit voltmeter. The Handyscope TP450 is an accurate voltmeter, but one that performs 5000 measurements on each cycle of the mains voltage, while a standard voltmeter performs 3 measurements per second. Even with the very high measurement rate of the Handyscope TP450, the mains voltage can be measured continuously for weeks, and afterwards each period of the mains voltage can be analyzed thoroughly. Using this fast continuous measuring method, no voltage peak or dip is missed, even if it lasts just a msec. The maximum measuring duration of the mains voltage is only limited by the available hard disk space. Measuring one week takes approximately 0.69 GB disk space. During a measurement, also RMS value and frequency are logged. It is possible to measure various properties, like e.g. Minimum, Maximum, Peak to peak, Mean, Variance, Standard deviation.

DP-VXI-5106, is a 32 Channel Analog Comparator Module with 32 channels of differential analog window comparators. Each channel is provided with a window comparator as well as a Level Comparator , software selectable on an independent channel basis. All the 32 channels have been grouped into four groups of 8 channels each. This allows the user to configure the comparator module based on the application to initiate alarm action to exactly meet application requirements. Each Comparator channel can be programmed to generate a VXI bus interrupt or can be masked through software. An Interrupt is generated on an individual channel basis or on a group basis. Front panel outputs of buffered TTL and a 2-CO relay contact is available for every group (4 outputs total each). Also, a common buffered TTL interrupt output and a common 2-CO relay contact is also available at the facia providing extensive flexibility in application engineering.This module is an ideal device for GO / NO-GO testing in Test Stand Automation where important signals must be continuously monitored for system shut down purposes and safety inter-lock implementation. The hardware implementation in the Comparator module provides high-speed throughput and reliable inter-lock implementation. The interrupt out signal can be further wired as trigger signals for pre and post trigger analysis of signal data for post acquisition detailing.Each channel provides a Window Comparator implementation and a Level Comparator implementation. The configuration is programmable through software and the alarm can be generated if the signal is within the window or outside the window. Similarly, a high and low limit can be set and a trigger is generated if the signal exceeds the high limit or drops below the low limit.

ADLINK’s PCI-9812 and PCI-9810 are 4-CH, 10 or 12-bit, 20 MS/s simultaneous-sampling analog input cards. The high-speed analog input channels are single-ended, with hardware programmable input ranges of ±1 V, ±5 V and input impedances of 50 Ω, 1.25 k Ω and 15 M Ω. The onboard 32 k-sample A/D FIFO can buffer so data throughput is less than 100 Mbytes/s, the FIFO performs as the temporary A/D sample buffer, and as a rule of thumb, no data loss will occur. When four channels operate at 20 MS/s simultaneously, each sample generates two bytes, resulting in 160 Mbyes/s (4 channels * 20 M * 2 bytes) throughput, which exceeds the peak 132 Mbyte/s bandwidth of PCI bus. To avoid data loss, the 32 k-sample FIFO is the limitation of sample count. In addition to the onboard 40 MHz time base, users are able to supply the external time base in either sine wave or digital forms. The PCI-9810 and PCI-9812 also feature external digital trigger and programmable analog trigger, thus the conversion start point of multiple cards can be synchronized to external events. The trigger modes include software-trigger, pre-trigger, post-trigger, middle-trigger and delay trigger, further expands the capabilities of these high-speed devices. IR FPA sensors are the most important modules of thermal imagers. Design of sensor electronics (camera core) is a crucial part of designing of new thermal imager. Knowledge of precise parameters of IR FPA sensor is needed by both professionals involved in both IR FPA technology/thermal imagers technology because parameters of IR FPA sensors determine performance limits of thermal imagers. Therefore test equipment that enable measurement of IR FPA sensors is a vital tool for development of both IR FPA technology/thermal imagers technology. It is commonly known that data sheets provided by manufacturers of IR FPA sensors (both cooled or non-cooled) provide too little details for electronics designers. Sometimes the provided data is not accurate enough and better sensor performance can be achieved using modified control signals. Therefore design teams loose sometimes years to develop electronic camera core optimized for a specific IR FPA sensor. When the type of the IR FPA sensor is changed the whole process is to be repeated. In this situation an universal, flexible camera core that would accept IR FPA sensors from different manufacturers and to carry out semi-automatic determination of optimal signal controls for a specific IR FPA sensor would be highly desirable.
