The KFM2150 system is a fuel cell impedance measurement system configured with an FC impedance meter KFM2150 and an electronic load PLZ-4W series. Combination of KFM2150 and PLZ-4WA series (0V input type) supports impedance measurement for single cell of fuel cell.In addition to impedance measurement with AC impedance method, KFM2150 system provides IR measurement with current interrupt method.Application software enables test for each characteristic of fuel cell such as I-V characteristics, Constant Current characteristics, Current Interrupt method and Cole-Cole plot by the AC impedance method. Moreover, each test can be performed in a specified order.

Load Cell Transmitter
MODEL SST-HV

The SST-HV is a Plug & Play Smart TEDS IEEE 1451.4 compliant Transmitter. Just plug in a TEDS compatible Load Cell or Torque Sensor and the SST-HV will automatically self-calibrate. When used with a non-TEDS Load Cell or Torque Sensor, the SST-LV Transmitter is easily programmed using a PC with an RS232 port and Instrument Setup (IS) software, which provides a graphical user interface. The SST-HV may be powered from 95-240 Vac ±10%. The SST-HV has an Isolated transducer excitation output that is selectable between 5Vdc or 10Vdc. There are Dual solid state relays and an Isolated 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA or 0-10V analog output. There are three Isolated serial data transmitter output ( RS232 , Half-duplex RS485, full-duplex RS485 ) and three serial protocols that are software selectable (Modbus RTU, Modbus ASCII and Custom ASCII). Isolation to 250V rms is provided for power, signal input, analog output, relay outputs, and communications. Isolation adds safety and avoids possible ground loops. The transducer excitation output is isolated to 50V from signal ground.

Cells and Electrodes

Electrochemical cells are designed to their special purpose. The method, the matter and their reactions as well as the environmental conditions define the limitations and demands for electrochemical cells and the electrodes. Standard corrosion testing cells may have a large volume, since corrosion products shall not change the solution grossly during the test. On the other hand, it may be valuable to collect corrosion products - then a very small volume is desired ("eluation cell"). Special corrosion tests for pitting reqiure a setup where undesired crevice corrosion is excluded ("Avesta cell" , "Quarfort Cell" or "Flushed port cell". Or you want to investigate in crevice corrosion, then the cell design should meet such conditions.
