The Keysight Technologies, Inc. E8782A pin matrix with instrumentation and E8783A pin matrix card are new additions that double the number of supported channels offered by the previous E8792A and E8793A matrix cards. With this increase in supported channels, customers can now support tests on units with a higher number of pin counts using the E6198A switch/load unit. Effectively, the E8782A pin matrix with instrumentation is configured with 24 instrument channels and 40 measurement channels and retains the features included with the older E8792A card.

The GPIB-PMC-XL is a PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) GPIB controller card that converts any CPU card with PMC slots into a GPIB controller.It performs all the basic IEEE-488.1 functions such as talker, listener and system controller. The IEEE-488.2 compatible functions make it fully compliant with the IEEE-488.2 specification. In controller applications, you can control typically up to 15 devices (instruments). If operated as a talker/listener (device) interface it does exchange data and state information with the current controller-in-charge of the GPIB bus. The GPIB-PMC-XL lets Windows and Linux programs control GPIB devices.The flat ribbon cable has a standard GPIB jack on one end and a receptacle to be plugged into the GPIB card on the other end. ADLINK"s PCIe-7248/7296 are high-density parallel digital I/O boards with 96/48 I/O channels. The header connectors are fully compatible with industry Opto-22 standard. Thus, PCIe-7248/7296 can utilize the Opto-22 external devices. The PCIe-7248/7296 devices emulate mode 0 of the industry standard 8255 programmable peripheral interface (PPI) chips. The PCIe-7248/7296 provides 4/2 PPI chips respectively. Each PPI offers three 8-bit ports: Port A, Port B and Port C. The Port C is divided into 2 nibble-wide (4-bit) ports. The PCIe-7248/7296 devices have programmable timer/counters. One 16-bit counter is available for event counting, while the other 32-bit timer is available for timed interrupt generation. The PCIe-7248/7296 devices provide multiple programmable interrupt sources from DIO channels, as well as the output of the timer.

Full error injection capability is provided in BC and RT modes,with full error detection in BC, RT, BM and CBM modes.
