Connector Test

A connector test system which provides expansion of up to 160 Kelvin pair connections. The system incorporates high voltage AC and DC power supplies with a maximum output of +/- 2100 Volts peak for Hi Pot, Insulation resistance measurement. LCR bridge control is provided with 4 terminal multiplexing in order to add precision capacitance, inductance and resistance measurement capability. An integral H.V. capacitor bias option permits capacitance measurement to be made at up to 2.1kV.

Variable DC power supplies are AC to DC power supplies with a variable DC output. The output can be varied with a Variable Transformer (also known as variac). The Variable Transformer can be adjusted manually or with a motorized control. The AC input power can be single phase or three phases. With single phase AC input, the DC output ripple is very high (50%). With three phase AC input, the DC output ripple is low (5%). This would be a key benefit for selecting three phase AC input instead of single phase.

The new magnetic phase difference method does not require AC power supply to an auxiliary motor for rotation detection change. TH-1000 series is a standard type torque detector with the rotation speed range up to 6000 r/min. The TH-2000 series is a high-speed rotation type which can be used for torque characteristic test of high-speed rotating motor such as an EV/HEV motor, a centrifuge machine or the like. The characteristic data of the detector can be automatically set up on the TH-5100 torque meter when power is turned on.

The U113AD has the ability to charge, discharge and cycle Lithium (LiPo, LiIo, LiFe) packs up to 8 cells, NiCad and NiMH packs up to 26 cells, and Lead Acid batteries up to 36V.
