Creating high-resolution broadcast content with cinematic quality has historically been a tall order, from cost of entry barriers to workflow integration. MultiDyne developed its SilverBack Series to help content producers convert digital cinema cameras into SMPTE studio cameras for live multi-camera production. SilverBack fiber camera adapters are lightweight “cameraback” systems ideal for live concerts, sports, TV productions and worship services. There are several models to meet varied budgets, all vendor-agnostic and engineered to adapt the user’s camera of choice. SilverBack systems offer modular designs to support diverse I/O configurations, with all signals carried over a single tactical or hybrid fiber cable. The voltmeter included in the kit, the “Model IA” voltmeter, is designed for ease of use by meter readers and corrosion technicians alike and the voltmeter comes with an integrated RE-5 reference electrode attached for “metallic structure-to-soil” potential difference readings. The kit also includes a special test lead that has a brass thumb screw on one end which allows the test lead to substitute for the RE-5 reference electrode. This substitution allows the voltmeter to take “structure-to-structure” potential difference readings. The voltmeter offers a 0 - 2VDC range with a 10MΩ input impedance and the analog display presents a color divided scale for convenient indication as to whether or not a carbon-steel structure is receiving a suitable level of cathodic protection, with respect to the accepted 0.85V (850mV) threshold value.

Available in 30, 50 and 70 Watt single output models, they all accept the universal input range from 90 to 264 VAC without the need for any input selector switches. Taking up significantly less space on the rail by being up to 44% slimmer than current generation DIN rail power supplies, the 30 Watt DPC30 measures just 90.0 x 100.0 x 22.5 mm (3.6 x 3.94 x 0.89 inches). Also, the 50 Watt DPC50 measures 90.0 x 100.0 x 30.0 mm (3.6 x 3.94 x 1.18 inches) and the 70 Watt DPC70 measures only 90.0 x 100.0 x 40.5 mm (3.6 x 3.95 x 1.59 inches). The new system requires no internal connections to your computer and simply connects via an external USB port on your laptop or desktop computer. Two versions of the data acquisition system are available. The standard version, THERMES USB, is connected to your computer USB port. The wireless version - THERMES USB WFI, can be either directly connected to a USB port or, with the included wireless receiver, positioned up to 100 feet from the host computer. Each unit will accommodate up to 7 type T thermocouple sensors and multiple Thermes units may be connected to the same computer for more thermocouple inputs. A high accuracy electronic cold junction compensation circuit maintains typical system accuracy of ±0.2°C over an ambient temperature range of 15 to 35°C. Circuit Check began Strain Gauge Testing in 1999 when BGA/SMT technology started replacing PTH components, reducing strain levels was a reactive post fixture fabrication process. We quickly recognized that the “reactionary” process was neither efficient nor were we capable on knowing the lowest achievable strain levels. Our engineering team came up with visual tools utilized during design to easily identify areas of excessive probe force, though still not enough data was generated to identify the lowest possible strain. Finite Element Analysis software models the PCBA and test fixture and applies the pressures from test probes and board supports and indicates the micro strain level applied to the PCBA. Using the FEA software during our design process allows our engineers to modify fixture designs to attain the lowest possible micro strain before fabrication begins.
