Module
PXI Programmable Resistor Modules are wellsuited for simulating environmental conditions in hardwareintheloop(HIL) validation. The software included provides a simple user interface that accepts inputs in units of temperature or resistance, and configures the resistance across each channel. The 40-965A-050-F connector block provides a simple method of connecting to 50-Pin D-Type connectors. The screw terminals use a rising cage clamp mechanism to minimize risk of copper strand breakage. PTFE cables are recommended for use with this connector block to maximise copper cross-sectional area and insulation properties. Connector blocks have higher losses than a cable connection and the breakdown voltage is controlled by clearances to the metal shell. The metal shell includes an internal insulation barrier under the carrier board.

The Keysight 34938A is a high power general-purpose switch module for the 34980A Multifunction Switch/Measure Unit. It has 20 independent single-pole, single-throw (SPST) 5A relays. This module is used to cycle power to products under test, control indicator and status lights, and to actuate external power relays and solenoids. Its 30VDC/250VAC, 5A contacts can handle up to 150W on a single channel, enough for many power line switching applications. Mini-Circuits’ RUDAT-13G-90 is a general purpose programmable RF attenuator supporting frequencies from 10 to 13000 MHz with attenuation from 0 to 90 dB in 0.5 dB steps. Its unique design maintains linear attenuation change per dB, even at the highest attenuation and frequency settings. The attenuator is controlled via USB, RS232 or SPI. It comes housed in a compact, shielded metal case with SMA(F) input/ output RF ports (RF ports are interchangeable), a USB type Mini-B socket, and a 9-pin D-sub(F) RS232 and SPI port. Power can be supplied via either USB or the D-sub port. The RUDAT-13G-90 is supplied with our easy-to-install, user-friendly GUI software, API objects for Windows® environments, and complete programming instructions for 32 and 64 bit Windows® and Linux® operating systems.
