The contact angle standard is a glass plate with images, representing sessile drops with different contact angles. The contact angle standard is manufactured by a high accurate lithographic process, so the images itself are very accurate according the given CAD-data. The Glass plate is placed on the measuring table instead of a real drop. The proof of the reproducibility of the contact angle measurement is performed by a repeated measurement of the object (sessile drop). For a correct test, the measurement must be performed, using the live video (not a frozen image). For a real sessile drop exists the problem, that it evaporates permanently. The result of the permanent evaporation is the permanent change of the contact angle. Therefore, the proof of the reproducibility of the contact angle measurement is not possible, using a real liquid, since the object changes permanently the contact angle!

The handheld tachometer is a means of measuring revolutions within the industrial sector, either optically or mechanically. The handheld tachometer can be used for maintenance and calibration of machines that have moving parts. The principle is similar to a bicycle speedometer, where time will be measured until a wheel has completely turned. The handheld tachometer has two different measurement methods.The handheld tachometer may have a contact connection to the moving parts. Alternatively, the handheld tachometer works with reflecting marks. This will be secured on the moving part. As the laser strikes the reflecting mark during rotation, it will be reflected and detected in the handheld tachometer via a sensor. Rotation speed and speed can be seen on the handheld tachometer. All the elements of the WRISTAT – continuity of the strap, integrity of the protective resistor, and satisfactory strap to skin contact – are easily confirmed by pressing the top cover of the WT25-4145.26M. The operator (wearer) is tested for a resistance to ground of greater than 250K ohms and less than1,200,000 ohms. The upper limit notifies you of an unacceptably high resistance value (IE possible loss of effective dissipation) and the lower limit warns of unsafe low resistance (possible risk of electric shock from surrounding motors, live wires etc.). The unit is not switchable.

The TA-6500 test fixture combines the features of the OEM's Instrument Servo Tester(T307962), the Pointer/Flag Test Fixture(T307951) and the AD-650/600 Test Panel(T334043) all into one panel to facilitate testing of these Attitude Director Indicator's. The panel switches and adjustment pots are labeled to match the test procedure numbers and the duplicity in marking makes it easier for the technician to understand each function. The UUT interface is through a 96 pin zero insertion force(ZIF) type connector to minimize contact wear. The expanded localizer and nav input pins J2-34/35 are exposed on the panel to facilitate the insertion of a 200 ohm shunt when required. The fixtures rear panel has connectors for the required dual API/Synchro transmitter interface while the panel switches provide the correct routing of each.
